About us
Zugum answers one question with numbers rather than opinions: what is it actually like to live at this address? We are a small team from Austria that got tired of guessing.

What we do
Moving is one of the biggest decisions most people make. The facts that matter are scattered across dozens of official datasets nobody reads before signing a lease: how loud it is at night, how long the commute really takes, whether the street floods, what a flat costs around the corner.
Zugum collects them for one exact address, scores each on the same scale, and lets you compare several addresses side by side. The free preview shows what the municipality looks like; a paid report measures the address itself.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure names its source in the report. The bulk of it is official Austrian data:
- Statistik Austria: population, households, employment, property prices
- Geosphere Austria: hot days and tropical nights (climate normals)
- HORA (Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management): flood hazard zones
- Umweltbundesamt / European Environment Agency: strategic noise maps
- AGES: radon potential
- ÖROK / AustriaTech: public-transport quality classes
- RTR-GmbH: broadband coverage (Breitbandatlas)
- Federal Ministry of the Interior: crime statistics from the Austrian Security Report
- Google Maps Platform: places, distances and routes
Scores and rankings are ours: we place each value among all Austrian districts or municipalities so a number means something without a reference table. When we cannot measure something, we say so.
How we make money
You pay per report, once. There is no subscription and no advertising, and we do not sell or share what you search for. That is the whole business model, and it is what keeps the report on your side rather than a landlord's or an estate agent's.
