Terms of service
These terms govern the use of Zugum and every report bought there. The provider is [Zugum — legal entity name], [Street and number], [Postal code] [City], Österreich (see the Legal notice). Where an English and a German version differ, the German one applies.

1. What Zugum is
Zugum provides location reports for addresses in Austria. The preview is free and describes the municipality. A paid report measures a specific address across the sections named on the product page. Reports are digital content: nothing is delivered physically.
Reports are for private, non-commercial use as decision support. They are not legal, financial or building advice and do not replace a viewing, a survey or the seller's or landlord's own disclosures.
2. Products and prices
You buy unlocks, one per address, in bundles of one, three or five. An unlocked address stays interactive for 30 days from the moment the unlock is used. Comparing unlocked addresses and exporting a PDF are included; the PDF is yours to keep. An expired report can be reactivated for a further 30 days at the price shown.
All prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. The price shown when you click the buy button is the price charged; there are no further costs.
3. How the contract comes about
Clicking the buy button places a binding order. The contract is concluded when the payment provider confirms your payment; the unlocks you bought are then yours, and we email you a receipt. Using one on an address generates its report, and we email you the link. Contract languages are German and English. We store the contract text; it is also part of the order confirmation.
Payment is handled by [Payment provider, e.g. Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Irland] using the methods offered at checkout. If a payment fails, no contract is concluded and no report is created.
4. Delivery
Unlocks don't expire. Using one on an address generates its report on the spot. If a report cannot be produced for an address, for instance because the data needed is unavailable, the unlock is not used and stays yours.
5. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason (§11 FAGG). The period starts on the day the contract is concluded. To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to [Zugum — legal entity name], [Street and number], [Postal code] [City], Österreich. An email to hello@zugum.example is enough. You may use the model form below but need not. Sending the statement before the period ends is sufficient. We refund all payments received from you without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the payment method you used.
Model withdrawal form: To [Zugum — legal entity name], [Street and number], [Postal code] [City], Österreich, hello@zugum.example. I hereby withdraw from my contract for the purchase of the following digital content: [report / order number], ordered on [date], name of the consumer, address of the consumer, signature (only on paper), date.
6. What the data is and is not
Reports combine official statistics, environmental maps and Google Maps data as published by their sources at the time the report is generated. Sources have their own update cycles and coverage gaps; a figure may be out of date, approximate or missing, and a score is our own assessment on a fixed scale. We take care in selecting and processing sources but cannot verify the underlying data, and we do not guarantee that a report is complete or correct in every detail.
Statutory warranty rights under the Consumer Warranty Act (VGG) remain unaffected. If a report is defective, tell us at hello@zugum.example and we will correct it, replace it or, where neither is possible, refund it.
7. Using a report
You may read, print, export and share your report, including its share link, for your own purposes. You may not resell reports, offer them as part of a commercial service, or extract data from Zugum systematically or by automated means. Map content is subject to Google's terms of use and may not be copied out of the report.
8. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of duties essential to the contract, and then up to the price of the report concerned; this does not restrict any liability mandatory under the Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) or the Product Liability Act. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a report.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Zugum available at all times but cannot guarantee it; maintenance and outages may interrupt the service. We may change or discontinue the service; reports already bought remain readable for the period paid for, and PDFs are unaffected.
10. Final provisions
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers resident in another EU country, the mandatory consumer protection of that country remains applicable. Claims by consumers against us may be brought at the court of their residence in Austria (§14 KSchG); for businesses the court at our seat has jurisdiction.
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body (AStG). Should a provision of these terms be invalid, the rest remain in force.
